[CLEAN CODE. SMART STACK CHOICES]

WEB DEVELOPMENT

Websites that work for your business. Not the developer's portfolio.

Development That Stays Out of Your Way.

You Don't Want to Think About Your Website's Code. It Just Needs to Work.

The sites I build are intentionally uncomplicated, not because they’re simple, but because the complexity happens behind the scenes where you never have to see it.

The Problem

Some developers build websites like they’re engineering a spaceship. Custom frameworks. Headless setups. A dozen moving parts that look great on a resume but make zero sense for a business that just needs a reliable online presence.

The Approach

The approach is simple: build websites that business owners can actually use, update, and afford to maintain. That means development stays focused on speed and stability.

What That Means Day to Day:

  • • The site loads fast. Every time.
  • • Content updates depend on your setup. WordPress means DIY and I’ll show you exactly how updates work for your specific site. Other stacks may need a developer. You’ll know which before we start.

This isn’t about using the trendiest framework or the most clever architecture. It’s about choosing what actually serves your business.

Stack Overview.

NOT EVERY STACK FITS EVERY PROJECT.

Picking the correct stack for your project is key.

WordPress: PHP, CSS, ACF, CPT, JS, and More

Content driven websites for clients who want to make their own updates. Why choose this: You get a familiar admin dashboard. No developer needed for text or image changes. Still fully custom, no bloated page builders. Trade-off: Less interactive than React. Still fast, but not built for complex web apps.

React: JavaScript, Tailwind CSS, + Vite → Node.js, Prisma, SQL

Fast, interactive experiences where performance is the priority. Why choose this: Lighting fast load times. Smooth, app-like interactions. Modern and future proof. Trade-off: Content updates require a developer. That's the trade-off for top-tier performance.

Email Templates : React Email, HTML

Two ways to get emails that work. React Email + Resend: For developers or clients who want modern tooling. You send. I build. WordPress Plugin: DIY option. Manage subscribers and send campaigns from your WordPress dashboard.

FAQs

Can I update the site myself?
  • Depends on the stack. WordPress means yes, you can edit text, images and pages yourself. React or low-code? Updates may need a developer. You’ll know before we start.
Who owns the domain and hosting?
  • You do. Domain and Hosting are registered in your name. I can help manage it.
Who owns the code and design?
  • HexCreate retains ownership of all code, design, and underlying structure. You receive a license to use these for your website, meaning your site runs and performs for your business. This is standard industry practice and allows us to keep your costs fair and transparent.
What ongoing support do you offer?
  • You want to handle content yourself. That ‘s fine. WordPress makes it easy to update text and images. But technical maintenance, plugin updates, security patches, backups, PHP versions, still needs to happen. You can learn to do it, or I can handle it for you.

  • You want me to handle everything. Maintenance plans include weekly updates, off-site backups, security monitoring, and performance checks. You focus on your business. I focus on your site not breaking.

Either way, the technical work gets done. The only question is who does it.

How long does a typical project take?
  • Usually 4 to 6 weeks from start to launch. Depends on complexity, feedback speed, and how quickly content is ready.
Do I need to provide content and images?
  • Yes and no. You provide the raw materials, services, details, photos, logos. I turn that into SEO-ready website content. Professional images are preferred, but we can work with what you have or find alternatives together. One thing to keep in mind: images will absolutely determine the quality of design.
What happens if something breaks after launch?
  • If you’re on a maintenance plan, covered issues are included. Response times are in the contract. If not, it’s hourly. Either way, you’ll know before we start.

[Ongoing Website Care]

A website isn’t a one-time thing. Security updates, plugin maintenance, and backups need to happen regularly. A maintenance plan takes that off your plate, so you focus on your business, not on broken plugins or security alerts.
